We recognize that each dentist joining our MaxiCourse has unique goals for their educational experience. Over a decade of running our program, dentists tend to fall into certain categories:

• Novices eager to learn the knowledge base within implant dentistry and observe live surgery. They don’t yet feel the desire to lead a surgery of their own or have the comfort level to do so. Future study clubs through our Continuum or with other groups support these dentists in building confidence in surgery.
• Dentists with experience on the surgical side of implant dentistry who have taken numerous other, smaller programs. They want a comprehensive education to fill in knowledge gaps as well as observe a plethora of surgery. They may already have surgical mentor support through their local study clubs.
• Dentists, novice or otherwise, eager to learn more about implant dentistry as well as lead their own surgeries.

NEW GRAD:

Dentists who graduated from dental school within three years [2024, 2023, 2022] qualify for a $1000 discount. This offer expires September 30th, 2024.

REFERRAL:

Dentists who refer a colleague to join you in the program receive $500 off tuition and a partial surgical fee waived as a thank-you for the generous referral.

North American and Internationally Licensed Dentists** [i.e. any dentist practising outside British Columbia] are able to apply for a temporary license through the College of Dental Surgeons of BC and malpractice insurance through CDSPI. This will enable you to perform surgery on patients in British Columbia, Canada. Please contact Andrew, Education Coordinator, for further information.

Accommodation through our corporate rate at the Ocean Promenade Hotel is about $140/night after tax for Sept through March, April @ $175/night & June @ $245/night. Parking at hotel is $16/night. You are steps to the beach from the hotel, restaurants all along the promenade.

Flying in? You don’t necessarily need a rental car. Airport is 30-40 min from our venue and the hotel. Coordinator can help connect you with classmates to carpool each day.

For our Hawaiian Islander friends, we are making every effort to ‘roll out the red carpet’ for you, with social engagements and events during your visit.

Accommodation through our corporate rate is about $189/night and up at the Ala Moana Hotel. You are close to the beach, and restaurants are easily accessible in the hotel as well as at the Ala Moana Center.

Flying in? You don’t need a rental car. Airport is 15 min from our venue and the hotel. Coordinator can help connect you with classmates to carpool each day. Transport will be provided between venues and hotel.
